A Year to Remember
For Release 9 a.m. EST
January 4, 2010
Norcross, GA — January 4, 2010 — Last year started with hope for change and a renewed excitement for our country. Many watched and hoped that the worse was behind us.
We quickly found that the economy was failing, people that we knew were losing their jobs and businesses were in trouble. Financial powerhouses quit lending while making sure that their TARP dollars went to rebuild their bottom line. People, yes real people, started to worry about their jobs and how they would make ends meet. Printing companies started reducing their hours and/or their staff, while some just closed. Atlanta lost three large printing companies and several smaller ones, but more may still be closing in the coming months.
American Digital Communications is excited that 2009 is over. We fought hard for every employee and their family and we managed to grow in this uncertain environment. We cut cost where we could and in the process we strengthened our skills in manufacturing. We ended the year with modest growth while maintaining most of our customers from 2008. We have more reasons for getting excited about 2010 because last year also made us improve in many areas.
ADC will be starting 2010 with a new look, but even more importantly a new attitude. We hope to add more equipment to enhance our print quality while adding more automation to our finishing capabilities. We will continue to develop new products along with refining the products that we offer today.
From all of us at ADC, we would like to extend a warm thank you and wish you the best in 2010.
